The Alpaca House highlights values related to the'humans, animals and the environment. Our goal is to create quality and authentic products with an exceptional wool: alpaca wool.

Alpaca wool is among the finest and softest fibres in the world, its thermo-regulating and hypoallergenic properties make it a unique wool. This is what we have always sought to highlight.

In each of our articles you will find our core values which are:

1- Respect for the Alpacas

The breeders behind alpaca wool do not abuse the animals. Our alpacas are not bred for their fur but for their wool.

The fibre we use comes from farms where the alpacas live in their natural habitat in semi-liberty. The wool is harvested from the annual shearing which takes place in spring to avoid the summer heat.

The cycle of life means that in some (very rare) cases we can reclaim the fur of some animals.

2- The quality of our products

We are very demanding about thethe quality of our items. All our models have been designed to satisfy our men, women and children customers.

Every year we create unique products to bring you the best items with the best quality, while keeping our best references from previous years.

3- Craftmanship

Our products are made by Peruvian artisans. This allows you to benefit from all their know-how.

All La Maison de l'Alpaga items are handmade or hand finished. This is why in some cases there may be differences between the photo we offer and the actual product.

We create handcrafted and sometimes unique products, so it can be complicated for our artisans to create copies of items.

4- Fair remuneration for our producers:

It is very important to us that our people in Peru are paid what they are worth. Nothing would exist without them and their alpacas. This is why La Maison de l'Alpaga pays particular attention to the fair remuneration of its craftsmen.

We regularly travel to Peru to meet with them, discuss new models and ensure fairness in our exchanges.

5- Respect for the environment

Alpaca is a very environmentally friendly animal. It emits very little greenhouse gas and does not uproot the various plants it feeds on, unlike a goat. Thus the vegetation can grow back naturally and he can feed continuously.

In addition, we conduct daily reflections to have a more respectful management of the environment, both for our waste and for the adoption of eco-design for our product packaging.

6- Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty

First and foremost, we want to provide you with complete satisfaction in your purchase.

This is why we do our best to meet your expectations. We are available to answer your questions or to advise you on a product or size.

Try a quality, 100% natural, thermo-regulating wool like Alpaca wool and you'll adopt it.
