Children's necklace
A snood is an English term, in fact it is a choker. Our child's choker is a style of tubular scarf that is worn around the neck like a collar or hood. It can be worn as a necklace, worn around the neck in a figure eight, wrapped over the chest, or even pulled over the head in some versions to cover the hair. The choker is a fashion accessory but also and above all a winter accessory to protect children from the cold. The child's choker avoids strangulation risks and allows the child to stay covered because the choker stays in place while the scarf can fall or unravel easily.
The choker is made of alpaca wool from Peru. Alpaca wool is very appreciated by parents who want to cover their children because it is very warm, thermoregulatory, hypoallergenic, soft and it lasts in time.
Also called snood, the child's choker is a combination of a scarf and a hood. Indeed, the choker can also be worn 2in1 if it rains or to cover the ears. This single tube neck scarf has no sides and cannot be tied.
Children's chokers are popular because they reduce the risk of accidents even if they fall off the neck or slip. The choker is designed in Peru by local artisans specializing in alpaca wool
